This is what both Levi and I felt like at the start of the day. Our bodies haven't begun to really adjust yet! We took off after the party to Eugene, to retrieve the RV that would be our home for the next week! These updates will come in a big block at the end because we are taking the RV up to the wilds of the Olympic Peninsula and I am assuming the poor wireless Internet that goes with all that.
The first day we drove to Eugene, but stopped along the way to see the Wildlife refuge just south of Roseburg. It is a bittersweet place for me. I have spent many hours there as a rest spot for a tired and cranky and very sick Frankie on those horror trips to Portland and it still evokes those memories. There is a sad edge to the visit, but I feel that it is good to let go of some of that, making good memories over the top of the bad ones!
Wildlife Refuge has some baby cheetahs at the moment and we were lucky enough to see them as they were being walked. They were just as you would expect babies to be and cute! They were just trying to wrestle each other the entire time! All legs and feet!
